Day 5 - The Most Generous Gift

Before you ever sought God, before you ever acknowledged Him or offered Him anything in return, He gave His Son. That is the defining act of divine generosity. God held nothing back for people who had nothing to offer. He did not wait until you were worthy. He acted while you were still His enemy. This is the foundation upon which integrity is built. When you truly understand that God has already given you His very best, the compulsion to steal, to shortchange, to hedge your bets against His provision begins to lose its power. You do not need to grasp for more. You are already held by the most generous hands in existence.
