"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."
Matthew 28:19-20 NKJV
Helena Valley Faith Center believes that the Great Commission is central to everything we do as a church. Because of that, we partner with several full-time missionaries to bring the gospel to the unreached. We have also sent our own "retired" pastors as missionaries to Wales, and several members of our pastoral staff and congregation serve often on short-term missions trips. Every year we hold Missions Experience, a time of fellowshipping with our missionaries and hearing from them what God is doing in their corners of the world. Our heart's desire is to be on mission with God "that the world may know" He sent Jesus to save us all.
Here are some missionaries we partner with and support:

Burundi Foursquare School of Ministry
In 2021, Pastor Emeritus Jeff Richards, Foursquare emissary to Burundi, East Africa, pioneered a school of ministry to meet the desperate need for Biblical education and certification for pastors in Burundi.
The Burundi Foursquare School of Ministry is held twice a year and offers a one-year certificate for its students covering three areas of learning: education, spiritual formation and service. The discipleship and leadership training involved is interactive and rigorous, teaching classes such as Hermeneutics and Ecclesiology, but also the relevant subjects of Grace and Legalism, and the Pastor’s Family.
HVFC has been a committed partner of the Burundi Foursquare School of Ministry from the beginning, supporting the work with prayer, finances, and even sending pastors such as Pastor Mary Jo Kraft to teach in the school twice a year. To date, 130 graduates have completed their certification from the Burundi Foursquare School of Ministry.
