Day 2 - The Generosity of God

God said to David, in essence, I gave you everything, and if it had not been enough, I would have given you more. That statement is staggering. The God of the universe looked at one of His most blessed servants and declared that His generosity had no ceiling. Yet David, surrounded by abundance, still reached for what was not his. This is the human condition. We accumulate blessing upon blessing and still convince ourselves that God is holding out on us. Take a moment today to count what God has placed in your hands. His generosity toward you has been greater than you have acknowledged, and it continues still.

Reflection: Where has God shown abundance in your life, even beyond what you have asked for?

Practical Application: Write down ten specific blessings God has given you. Read them aloud as an act of gratitude and as a declaration that God has been and will continue to be faithful.
