Day 5 - Submitting to God Through the Authority He Gives
Submission is not weakness. It is the recognition that you are not the highest authority in any relationship. Christ is. Paul builds an entire structure of God-ordained authority in Ephesians, from husbands to wives, parents to children, and employers to workers. Each relationship reflects a larger truth: Christ is over all, and every authority beneath Him will answer to Him. When authority is abused, God does not ignore it. Those who hold authority will face a greater judgment. Our calling is not to take vengeance into our own hands but to trust the God whose wisdom is infinite and whose justice is perfect. He has not missed a thing.
Reflection: In what area of your life is God calling you to trust His wisdom rather than resist the authority He has placed over you?
Practical Application: Choose one area of authority in your life, your workplace, your church, your family, and practice deliberate, prayerful submission this week, trusting God to honor your obedience.
