God Speaks
What does it mean to truly listen when God speaks? Pastor Will takes us on a journey through one of the most foundational moments in all of Scripture, the giving of the Ten Commandments in Exodus 20, to uncover a truth that is just as alive today as it was on Mount Sinai. When God spoke audibly from the fire and the thunder, the people of Israel were so overwhelmed that they begged for the voice to stop. And yet, God has never stopped speaking. Pastor Will explores how God continues to communicate with us through the full counsel of His written Word, and through the still, quiet nudging of the Holy Spirit within us. The challenge laid before us is honest and personal: are we actually listening, or have we already made up our minds? A vivid, relatable story about a stubborn truck repair gone wrong becomes a surprisingly powerful illustration of what happens when we tune out that gentle inner voice. The invitation here is not just to hear God, but to develop the discipline and humility to actually follow where He leads, even when it contradicts what we have convinced ourselves is true.
