Day 5 - Finishing Well in an Unchanging Savior
"In life, it is easy to start something. Anyone can do that. But a good man is known by how he finishes." These words from the pastor's father echo through Scripture. Paul declared, "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." The question isn't whether you'll face trials, strange doctrines, or cultural pressure—you will. The question is: will you endure to the end? You can, because Jesus is your constant anchor. He doesn't change with circumstances, culture, or time. When waves of difficulty crash against your faith, He remains immovable. When leaders fail or ministries shift, He stands firm. Fix your eyes on Jesus, "the author and finisher of our faith." Surrounded by the great cloud of witnesses who finished well, run your race with endurance. The same Jesus who sustained them sustains you. Commit today to finishing well, clinging to the unchanging Christ.
Reflection
1. What does it look like to finish your race well, and what specific areas of your life need attention to ensure you're on that path?
