Day 2 - Jesus Christ is the Same Yesterday

"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever." This isn't just a comforting slogan—it's theological bedrock. The Jesus who empowered the early church martyrs to stand firm is the same Jesus available to you today. He demonstrated His love by laying down His life while we were still sinners. That love hasn't diminished or changed. The faithfulness that sustained believers through Roman persecution, medieval darkness, and modern trials remains constant. When you feel distant from God, remember: He hasn't moved. Jesus doesn't shift with cultural trends or adapt to make Himself more palatable. His love, power, grace, and truth remain perfectly consistent. Whatever your ancestors in faith needed from Jesus, He provided. Whatever you need today, He is sufficient. Spend time today thanking God for His unchanging nature in a world of constant flux.
