Day 5 - Enduring the Process

Oct 30, 2026

No one enjoys the fire. No one celebrates the hammer. The process of being forged is painful, disorienting, and often feels as though it will never end. But Hebrews reminds us that what feels unbearable in the moment is producing something in us that cannot be manufactured any other way — holiness, endurance, and righteousness that hold up under pressure. The peaceable fruit does not come during the trial. It comes afterward, in those who have been trained by it. The key word is trained. A person who endures the process and submits to the shaper comes out stronger. A person who refuses the process remains brittle and breaks when the demands of life increase. Do not despise the season you are in. God is producing something in you that will last.

Looking back on a past trial, what fruit did God produce in your life through that season that you could not have grown any other way?
