Truth About the Way to Life

Aug 16, 2026    Peter Taitt

What does it truly mean to walk in truth, follow the way, and embrace life as God intended? Peter takes us on a journey through one of the most definitive statements in all of Scripture -- found in John 14:6, where Jesus declares himself to be the way, the truth, and the life, with no exceptions and no ambiguity. We explore how truth is not just an abstract concept but a living, active foundation -- a kind of spiritual true north that keeps us oriented when life pulls us off course. Just as God gave Adam clear and truthful instruction in the Garden, and the enemy immediately moved to distort and undermine that truth, we see the same pattern playing out in our lives today. The enemy has always targeted the things God values most -- family, life, love, and community -- and he does it with a smile. But here is the encouragement: we are equipped. The belt of truth in Ephesians 6 is not decorative; it holds everything else together, including the sword of the Spirit. When we are grounded in truth and speaking it in love, we become a light in a darkening world, and we grow more fully into the body Christ is building.
