Day 4 - The Foundation We Build

There's eternal value in raising children in the admonition of the Lord. When we establish a firm foundation, model godly living, and teach our children how to stand in spiritual armor, we give them something to return to during their prodigal moments. The prodigal son came to his senses because he remembered his father's house. That memory, that foundation, drew him home. Whether you're a physical parent or a spiritual mother or father, you're building into someone's life. Your children—biological or spiritual—are always watching, even when you think they're not. They're listening, observing how you live out your faith. Your prayers for them matter more than you know. Your consistent walk with God creates a legacy that outlives you. Today, consider: What foundation are you laying? What legacy are you building? Are you modeling the armor of God or just talking about it?
