Day 5 - Looking Back to Move Forward

Lamentations 3:21-24 records a man in the depths of grief who chooses deliberately to call something to mind. He looks back. He remembers God's faithfulness. That backward glance becomes the foundation of forward hope. Romans 8:28 does not promise that all things feel good. It promises that God works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. You live life looking forward, but you understand life looking backward. The trials behind you are evidence of a God who has never stopped working. Let that evidence fuel your joy today.
