Day 3 - Tested Faith is Trustworthy Faith

First Peter 1:6-7 describes faith refined through trials the way gold is refined through fire. The purpose is not destruction but proof. Proven faith is more precious than gold because it endures beyond this life. Psalm 34:19 acknowledges plainly that the righteous will face many afflictions, but it pairs that reality immediately with the assurance of God's deliverance. The testing of your faith is not God wondering whether you will make it. He already knows. The testing reveals to you what you are made of and where your confidence truly rests.

Looking back over the last year, where has your faith proven itself trustworthy? Where did it waver? What did those moments reveal about where your trust was actually placed?
