Day 3 - The Temple Within

The Jewish people found their identity in having a temple where God's presence dwelled. They could visit Him there, then walk away and live as they pleased. But grace changes everything. You are now the temple of the Holy Spirit. God's presence isn't confined to a building you visit on Sundays—He resides in you continuously. Wherever you walk, His presence goes. Whatever circumstance you face, He is there. This eliminates the excuse of distance from God and the illusion of control. You cannot compartmentalize your faith when Christ lives in you. David asked, "Where can I flee from Your presence?" The answer: nowhere. This truth should both comfort and challenge you—God is always near, always present, always involved.
