Day 3 - The Great Exchange
Oct 21, 2026
God's invitation in Isaiah 55 is strikingly generous. He calls the thirsty, the hungry, and even those without money to come and receive what they could never purchase on their own. The exchange He offers defies human logic: our emptiness for His fullness, our striving for His rest, our sin for His pardon. Matthew described it well through the image of a terminal diagnosis followed by the news of a cure. The cure only becomes precious when we understand the severity of the condition. God does not hide our need from us. He reveals it so that the gift of grace becomes something we treasure rather than take for granted.
Do you truly grasp what you have been given in Christ, or has familiarity dulled your sense of gratitude?
