Day 2 - Living Water for the Thirsty Soul

The woman at the well had every reason to expect rejection. She was a Samaritan, a woman, and someone carrying the weight of a complicated past. Yet Jesus initiated the conversation. He did not wait for her to clean herself up first. He offered living water before she even understood what she was thirsty for. This is the nature of God's pursuit of us. He meets us at our point of need, not our point of worthiness. The world offers endless substitutes that promise satisfaction but leave us returning to the same empty well. Only Christ provides what truly sustains.

What have you been drinking from that continues to leave you thirsty?

Identify one thing you habitually turn to for comfort or meaning apart from God. Intentionally bring that need to him in prayer today instead.
