Day 3 - Learning to Recognize His Voice

Pastor Will mentioned in his sermon: "We have to develop the skill of being aware of when the Holy Spirit is speaking to us." It is easy to drown out a small, quiet voice when we have all the noises of life competing for our attention. But Jesus gave us a promise to help with the chaos of life in John 14:26. He tells us that the Holy Spirit will teach us all things and remind us of what Jesus has said. God is truth and when we call on the Holy Spirit for guidance, we will receive truth, not misguided directions. We can ask the Holy Spirit for guidance in the smallest of life decisions all the way to the biggest life changes. We can know that we receive a response from the Holy Spirit draws us to Scripture, righteousness, and Christ-like living.
