Day 2 - The Idol of Self

The most persistent idol in any human life is not carved from wood or stone - it is the self. When we demand that God align with our plans, bless our preferences, and stay within the boundaries we set for Him, we have placed ourselves on the throne. We are the ones wearing the crown. Paul makes clear that this exchange is not merely foolish — it is a spiritual unraveling. The good news is that God does not abandon those who have wandered. He calls us back. True worship begins the moment we stop managing God and start surrendering to Him.
