Day 4 - Stewardship of Your Story
God has entrusted you with an invaluable gift: your testimony. Like any gift, it requires faithful stewardship. Paul urged Timothy, "Do not be ashamed of the testimony of the Lord." Shame, fear, or false humility can silence the very story that might set someone free. Your testimony isn't about making yourself the hero—it's about revealing the Hero who rescued you. Three dangers threaten effective testimony: dwelling too much on past sin, making yourself the champion of your own story, or comparing your journey to others. Avoid these pitfalls by keeping Jesus central. Every perfect gift comes from the Father. Your salvation, your healing, your breakthrough—all flow from His grace. When you steward your story well, you honor God, encourage others, and defeat the enemy's attempts to silence truth. How are you stewarding the story God has given you?
Reflection:
The three dangers mentioned are too much detail about sin, becoming the hero, and comparing yourself with others. Which of these do you find most challenging when sharing your faith journey?
