When Adam and Eve sinned, God could have destroyed everything and started over. Instead, He immediately began the work of restoration. This reveals the heart of our Father—He is fundamentally a God of peace who seeks reconciliation. The Greek word for peace (Irenaeus) means wholeness, right order, and reconciliation. God doesn't just want calm in your life; He wants to make whole what is broken, restore right order where there is chaos, and reconcile what has been separated. Today, recognize that God isn't angry at you, waiting to punish your failures. He's pursuing you with peace, seeking to restore you to wholeness through Christ.
