Day 3 - Sit at His Feet

Serving is good. Working is good. Being involved in God's Kingdom is good. But even good activity can distract us from Jesus when doing for Him replaces being with Him. Mary chose to sit at Jesus' feet and listen, while Martha became worried and troubled by everything that needed to be done. There are seasons when the faithful response isn't to find another job to do—it's simply to stop, listen, receive His Word, and rest in His presence. 

Question: Has serving, working, worrying, or trying to solve problems kept you from simply sitting with Jesus and listening to Him?
