Day 1 - Daily Life Demands

Throughout history, people have been trying to escape the pressures of time and even try to overcome that by being their own god and taking God out of the equation. Psalms 2 references a time when people set themselves as their own rulers and “He who sits in the heavens laughs; the Lord holds them in derision” (Psalm 2:4 ESV). Is there an area of your life that you have been taking over for yourself and thinking that you are the only one who can handle it? 

You might be thinking that

- only you can handle that tough conversation with your employee,

- only you can figure out which job is best for you,

- only you know how to fix your marriage.

God wants to be there in these situations, let Him be your guide.
